Födro Elbow and Diverter Valve
The special elbow and diverters can either be used as elbows or as pipe shunts (diverters). They are employed where powdry and/or free-flowing goods are conveyed.
How they work
The stream of material conveyed is led into a so-called station (or pot) where only a small radius is used to change direction of the stream. The design of the pot ensures that the material conveyed can expand. Due to the gas pressure, the material conveyed in the gas stream forms a layer along the walls of the elbow/diverter. Then this layer pretects the unit from wear when the following material is being conveyed at conveying speed.

Moreover, the special design of the outlet conduit of the elbow/diverter ensures that the material conveyed is guided best through the conduit, which in turn completely exludes the kind of segregation found in these systems and which also enhances the advantageous characteristics of this unit.
